Darren is Head of Quality at The Education and Training Foundation (ETF), where he is at the forefront of current and new ETF initiatives. He has worked in the FE sector for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience.

Darren’s career working in many different-sized organisations has given him a solid understanding of a whole organisational approach to quality and successful college management.

For the past 15 years, he has worked in cross-organisational roles that require good teamwork and collaboration. Having worked at various institutions, he has always led by example and is driven by the values of trustworthiness, inclusivity, and striving for excellence.

Darren fully supports the need to promote EDI, particularly ensuring FE is diverse and forward-thinking. Underrepresentation and marginalisation and the opportunity to support the college's EDI agenda and the wider community in supporting underrepresented groups are close to heart.
